La Habana in Cuba!

What an honor it was to have been invited to participate in the Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine latinoamericano de La Habana in Cuba! I curated a program of films from my Experiments in Cinema festival that included works by Patricia McInroy (in attendance), Michelle Mellor (in attendance), Jonathan Franco, Ra di Martino, Jimmy Hendrickx, Leslie Supnet, Ivan Marino, Lucy Latimer, Vladislav Knezvic, Irene Coll Ingles, Roberto D'Alessandro, Rajee Samarasinghe, Richard Tuohy, John Wenger, Clint Enns and Lee Hyung-suk. Thanks so much to Dominque Angerame and Alberto Ramos for making this happen!

In addition to screening films from EIC and exploring this magical city (Havana), we are now in the process of communicating with Cuban media experimentalists to assemble a "Cuban Focus" for our Experiments in Cinema festival in 2017!
