EIC Youth Lens

Accepting Submissions August 1 - November 1, 2025
​

Seeking films by young filmmakers! Free to enter, and open to all students, including home school students and those not enrolled in a film class. Youth participants are encouraged to submit films of any genre. New Mexico-based schools that submit films are guaranteed representation at the youth program screening.​​​

​

  • For young filmmakers under 18 years of age

  • Maximum run time is 10 minutes per submission

  • Submissions MUST include title, artist names, and end credits

  • Limit of three films per student

  • We will not accept films that depict violence or guns 

  • Films that are not in English MUST include English subtitles

  • All entries must be submitted through FilmFreeway.​
